Scientists say accumulation of greenhouse gases accelerating by Lucia Hrusovska

As we all know, our planet has to face to many unfavorable impacts, which we make it to fight with. These impacts have their origin in a world industry, which produces a large amount of adverse materials every single year. Between the most adverse materials include carbon dioxide and methane. During the last years the concentration of carbon dioxide, one of the so-called greenhouse gases increased rapidly. According to recent researches, which have been made by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the concentration of this greenhouse gas in the air increased by 2.4 parts per million last year so nowadays a global concentration of carbon dioxide is nearly 385 parts per million. We all know, that continuing cumulations of this and also of others adverse gases in the air is going to have fatal consequences on our planet, such as raising of temperature, melting of glaciers, ascending of an ocean level and many others. This problem has been known for long years, and many actions has been taken to prevent this. One of them is for instance the Kyoto Protocol, which is an agreement with the objectives of reducing Greenhouse gases that cause climate change. It entered into force on 16 February 2005 and requires to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the levels specified for each involved countries in the treaty. As also Ed Dlugokencky from NOAA´s Earth System Research Laboratory sad, another possible causes of increase in an amount of methane in the air are growing industrialization in Asia and rising emissions in the Arctic and tropics.
