Chris Cantell Discusses Science: Where Was The Mistake? Troubled Land Off Risked Astronaut's Lives by Milota Sidorova

Exactly two minutes of being grilled by Gravity forces sized above average measures.That's just a glimpse of Saturday's Soyuz space capsulle dramatical land off. Despite of troubled set-downs are nothing unusual, Soyuz reached the ground almost 300 miles off course in Kazakhstan. Three person international crew depicted the return as more than dramatical experience."I saw 8.2 G's on the meter and it was pretty, pretty dramatic. Gravity's not really my friend right now and 8 G's was especially not my friend. But it didn't last too long," said Peggy Whitson, American astronaut in audio recording released by NASA on Tuesday. The space capsulle had been attacked by Gravity forces totally 8 times on its second journey to ISS and back. Russian technicians declare that it normally does only 5 times.Although NASA seems to not worry about the whole situation, Russian Space officials told the press, that the crew was in serious danger.It took almost 30 minutes to reach the signal from landed capsulle, that according NASA analysts was nothing to worry about. To Yuri Malenchenho's report about smoke in the cabine it answered that it had been probably burning materials, that was, of course nothing unusual.The capsulle has been taken into immediate investigation, to locate the possible cause of breakdown. Despite significant Russian effort, no frayed wiring have been detected."We may have missed the probable cause," said William H. Gerstenmaier, Moscow Mission Control Administrator.However, NASA didn't take part in the investigation. Russians hope to locate and solve the problem as soon as possible. Any other failure would be a significant black point on theirs space industry image. Specialists have classified the accident as 3 from 5 point damage scale.
