One historical flight Claudia Sonea

Yves Rossy is a Swiss former fighter pilot and a fan of extreme sports who trained really hard for five years in order to do the Wednesday performance in front of worldwide press. If you were wondering what demonstration it is all about, then you should know that he flew a jet-powered wing above the Alps and landed near the eastern shore of Lake Geneva. The magnificent German-built model aircraft engine has the shape of a pair of eight-foot wings that Yves wear on his back and is enriched by four jet turbines reaching 186 miles per hour speed. The flight lasted for fight minutes and was marked by a beautiful performance and a perfect 360-degree roll. Because you have to coordinate it with your movements it is rather dangerous and many times has faced problems, thus Yves said the only good advice is to relax and stay focused. Don’t worry; he had a backup plan anyway: a yellow handle unfolds a parachute. Also aiding in his flight there was his suit heat-resistant just like that of the firefighters. Encouraged by the success of the performance, Rossy wants to cross the English Channel next. Rossy managed to get sponsors for this crazy idea of his like the Swiss watch company Hublot and spend a lot of money in the creation of the device. Probably if it will ever get on the market, it will be out of reach for us to purchase. Let us then just admire him and keep our fingers crossed whenever he is looping.
