Chris Cantell Discusses Science: Testele DNA vor fi inlocuite? Claudia Sonea

Sub patentul lui Identity Sciences LLC a fost lansata o noua tehnologie, mai exact un test de identificare umana pe baza de tipar de anitcorpi. Desi este mai ieftin si mai rapid decat testele AND, creatorii lui spun ca nu este menit a inlocui aceste teste. Exista un tipar de anticorpi unic detectabil in sange, saliva si alte fluide utile imunitatii corpului si sanatatii mentale a unei persoane. Din 1998 la Laboratorul National din Idaho cercetatorii au trudit sa realizeze acest test care are menirea de a organiza lucrurile la scena unei crime (urme de sange sau parti de corp). Singurul defect de pana acum este lipsa unei baze de date cu tipare de anitcorpi la nivel national si de aceea nu va fi valabil ca dovada de incriminare. Totusi, Gene Venesky, vicepresedinte al Stiintelor Identitatii, a declarat ca testul va da cazului posibilitatea de a merge mai departe si a ajunge la o dovada incontestabila ce va concluziona cu o acuzare. Pana anul viitor in toamna, kiturile cu testul respectiv vor fi disponibile fortelor de justitie, armatei si laboratoarelor legistilor si medicilor din intreaga lume si va fi accompaniate de un instructaj foarte usor. Conform comunicatului de presa testul pe baza de anticorpi va fi cu mult mai ieftin decat cel pe baza de AND, desi ei inca nu au fixat un pret. Este inca un test care ridica multe semne de intrebare si doar cand va fi utilizat pe teren i-se va dovedi utilitatea.
