I like historical movies. I always wanted to try live in the past... to put on nice dress and dance with some prince on the ball. Yes, I know it is possible only in fairy tales... but the imagination is wonderful. It is amazing if we realize that 2 or 3 hundred years ago instead of our house there was built some important building or church or maybe some prison. There are plenty of tales and myths about it and about people who have lived there. People just love these stories.We have a lot of evidences which our ancestry let for us and now we can see them at some galleries or museums. Some of these costly things have been found just randomly. Very often people unveil finds for example historical dearness, during the digging up preparation for a new house or new shopping center.Rome is wonderful historical metropolis which is full of nice monuments.On Friday archaeologists found something new there. They were just digging up preparation for a new subway line. There are a lot of digs which are near famous monuments. They unveiled the medieval and Renaissance finds from a sixth-century copper factory which was used to work on copper alloys. There could wait more surprises like this but that could also create a problem between planners of subway and conservationists. Architects know that they can only dream about the situations without some conflicts. There is important to build third subway line because Rome's 2.8 million inhabitants can rely on just two subway lines. Part of line could be opened in 2011 but the project is scheduled for completion in 2015 and trains should transport 24 000 passengers per hour.

Taking drugs without knowing it?

You are thirsty. You are taking one of your glasses out of the cupboard, filling it with water and drinking quickly. After that you will drink another glass and your thirst disappeared. People are usually not conscious of threats connected with some, for them common, things just like water is. Doesn't matter if you are making a tea or soup for the dinner, if you are using water while you are baking a cake for your kids & whatever you do with water can influence your health. The worst on the whole situation is that we are not realizing this fact!Latest investigation of Associated Press showed there is a vast array of pharmaceuticals in drinking water supplies and about 41 million Americans use this water. Even though utilities insist their water is safe and cannot cause any harm to its users, scientists worry of long-term consequences to human health and that's why are making tests if the concentration of pharmaceuticals are tiny. This "contaminated" water supplies 28 major metropolitan areas and people living in for example Texas, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Ohio, California etc. are using this water daily. Tests showed that antibiotics, anticonvulsants, mood stabilizers and also sex hormones have been detected in the watersheds.If you are asking how all these pharmaceuticals get into your water, I will tell you, even I am not sure, if after reading it you wouldn't rather wish not to know it. People are taking various kind of pills but their bodies are absorbing only part of this medication. The rest of it is just passing through and ends in the toilet. The wastewater, before it is discharged into reservoirs, rivers or lakes, has to be treated first. But some of the water which is going to be used as a drinking water has to be cleansed again. But most treatments do not remove all drug residue. You can imagine, how people in the U.S. are reacting. Some of them are really afraid and hopeless after finding this out, some of them rely on the bottled water, which is not a solution neither. Bottled water is simply repackaged tap water, and after all it is bottled in plastic what means other phthalates, petrochemicals and organochlorides connected with it. Reactions on this situation are various, but the solution should be one & clear the water for its users, properly and quickly!
