Girlpower is back!
by Zuzana Valkova

I don't know how about you, but when I was a little child, I loved Spice Girls. They were so cool. Five young, nice girls were dancing, jumping, smiling, and of course singing in television or in magazines. Their posters were hanging on the walls in every room of every young girl.We adored them, they were more than pop stars for us, they were our heroes.Every member of the group was different. My favourite one was Mel B. She had big curly hair and always wore colorful clothes. She was the craziest one. Then was Emma, she was typical sweetheart, long blonde hair, huge smile and always very short dress. Pink was the best colour. Geri was that red one, I mean that one with red hair, she was a little bit provocative and she loved to show herself. Mel C was the sporty one, she always wore sport clothes, almost never had a skirt and I think she was the best singer. And the last one was Victoria. She looked very conservative, always very elegant and always looking very seriously. They were really popular. Their first single was Wanabe. It was the best selling debut single of all time. They became famous during the night. Together they produce two very successful albums, Spice and Spiceworld. Third one, called Forever, was without Geri, because she decided to leave the group. Last Album The Greatest Hits was released this year, and they have just started their world tour. Fans can wait what will be next. I'm not fan of them anymore, but it is a nice memory from my childhood. I think I'm going to put some songs to my iPod.
